We have a terrifying show for you today all about the house we grew up in. So, Jenny and Kari are here to share a collection of creepy tales that happened in our childhood home and some are being told here for the very first time!!!! Story 1: Growing up in a haunted house can make you feel like your losing your mind! There always seemed to be things happening that just didn’t quite make sense and all seven of us kids learned to cope by keeping our lips zipped and pretending that things were okay…Jenny shares two terrifying memories from when she was just a little kid! Story 2:The house we all grew up in was large, it was an old Victorian that was built in around 1880 and had a distinctly Gothic vibe especially after our mom painted it a shade of gray that was almost black, but it was still only a 3 bedroom 1 ½ bath house and we had 7 kids, 2 parents and an assortment of dogs, cats, birds, and more living there, we also had the most kids on the block, so our house was the headquarters for every kid in the neighborhood – it was also, as you’ve heard, haunted as hell. Kari tells a story of something that somehow moved in the night. Story 3: Our last story is all about the man in the house… and no, I’m not talking about Crazy Larry, also known as our dad… no there was another man and both Jenny and Kari had startling and scary encounters with him! -Join us on Facebook! bit.ly/FacebookHITH -Buy us a cookie or two! bit.ly/ko-fiHITH -Thanks to our Storytellers: Kim A. Welcome back to Part 2 of our Story.
13 years ago, my friend Shanti turned a free breakfast into a custom-made motorcycle and an all-expenses paid trip to Venezuela ...when she sort of, accidentally ended up as a contestant on Pyscho Fear Factor…, yes, you heard me correctly…. Psycho Fear Factor. If you haven’t listened to part one of this story, we recommend you do so now…. It first aired on April 4th, 2019...we’ll be right here waiting for you when you come back. So, Shanti and her boyfriend are on the Psycho Fear Factor and not only that, end up being surprise finalists...hence the motorcycle and vacation…. If you’re not familiar with Fear Factor, it was a popular NBC reality TV show, where the contestants competed in a variety of scary and gross stunts and dares for various grand prizes. The show was hosted by Joe Rogan, you might know him now the host of the popular Podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience. Fear Factor was rebooted in 2017 on MTV with Ludicris as the host. The original Fear Factor aired from 2001 to 2006 and Shanti was lucky enough to appear in a special three episode arc called Psycho Fear Factor during the last season. Shanti and her then-boyfriend Clayton, were one of 6 couples competing on the show, which was centered around the real-life, uber-creepy Bates Motel set, on the set of the horror movie filmPsycho. In this Fear Factor, the contestants were required to sleep in the Motel. I’ll never forget the night Shanti and I met… she was one of those people I just knew I was destined to be friends with. She’s gorgeous, enthusiastic, loves crystals (as do I) and is fun as hell to hang out with… plus her stories are hilarious and unbelievable. This probably wont’ be the last time you hear Shanti on our show… but enough talk… let’s get back to Shanti now on Psycho Fear Factor… when we left her last, she was about to eat something pretty disgusting…. Quick note: Today’s episode includes swear words. Huge thanks again to Shanti for sharing this awesome and hilarious How in the Hell did I get here story!
